Ten years ago I wrote an email to a few brothers warning of coming electronic tracking and asking the question if we should continue to use all of these technologies for future ministry as well as for our own use personally (see at the bottom of this post). The response was that we should continue to use this technology in spite of any future consequences.
My concern is much greater today as it is no longer just spiritual discernment. We are seeing the reality of this unfold today. The use of this advanced surveillance, tracking and population control is being implemented around the world. China leads the way, and the U.S. is not too far behind. This Covid Pandemic is opening doors to unbridled surveillance and to reprogram us to “the critical need for this type of technology in the interest of public safety.” The pandemic of fear is being used to disarm us and get us to accept this “new normal” of government personal intrusion, access, restrictions and requirements.
PLEASE NOTE: MY BIGGEST CONCERN is not just regarding the immediate use or misuse of our private information by the U.S. or other governments, or by other organizations around the world. I’m looking at this years down the road as technology continues to advance, and all of our information that has been collected over the years, is now in the hands of the one world government and the BEAST SYSTEM. There is no place on earth that we can hide. There is no stockpiling of food and supplies that won’t be discovered and confiscated. The ONLY safety and provision will be in the supernatural covering and supply of the Holy Spirit. To be hid in and under the secret place of the Most High is our only solace. All other attempts are a waste of time and money.
Even with this writing I am exposing myself all the more. I’m counting on His divine covering. God is God over every bit of man’s and Satan’s devices. If we press into Him, we have nothing to fear. No weapon formed against us will prosper. Praise God!
But to discern the times and to know what is going on today, here are some important videos regarding the new normal of the Surveillance State:
I’m sure you are aware, at least in part, of the Edward Snowden leaks that came about in 2013. To show my ignorance, I really didn’t know much about the issues or the allegations against him – and this U.S./NSA security breach ordeal, until recently. All I heard was that he leaked top secret U.S. intelligence information from the NSA and the CIA particularly. But I really didn’t know the whole story.
Much of what Ed Snowden did was based on his concern about the NSA’s involvement in secretly and even illegally developing systems to access, collect and store information on all U.S. citizens and other nationalists around the world in the name of national security. He was accused by the U.S. government of espionage, treason and leaking top government secrets to the public, including foreign governments. He remains in exile in an apartment in Moscow because of his actions.
After the event of 9/11, the U.S. government overreacted and began a campaign to “secure America” starting with the Patriot Act and setting up mandatory security measures at airports and other critical areas in an attempt to prevent future terrorist attacks. It also led to the war in Iraq, the downfall, capture and execution of Suddam Hussein, many identified terrorists, and eventually the capture and execution of Osama bin Laden. That’s all great. It also created the Homeland Security agency and increased the powers of the National Security Agency (NSA) the CIA and FBI. This in essence allowed the U.S. government, particularly the NSA, in an effort to track internal terrorists and other potentially threatening groups and individuals, to launch an aggressive technological campaign to collect, store, access and use information on all U.S. citizens and other nationalists around the world for the purpose and under the guise of national security.
Many countries followed the leader, including Great Britain, Russia, China, and others and implemented their own security and cyber security measures. A technological war began to develop at an unprecedented level. Not only against terrorists, but against cyber-terrorists, and by governments against their own people. Even nation rising against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. Sorry. I fell into Matthew 24 again. Anyway…
Ed Snowden said to the The Guardian on June 9, 2013: “I do not want to live in a world where everything I do and say is recorded,” he said. “My sole motive is to inform the public as to that which is done in their name and that which is done against them.”
It was interesting that as I was writing this post yesterday and gathering information, I stumbled across the following interview with Ed Snowden regarding this very topic. I watched it LIVE. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!
The following interview is conducted by Jacinta Gonzalez, a Director of a very left-wing radical political organization called Mijente. One of their major concerns is the use by the U.S. government, particularly ICE, in using modern surveillance and tracking technologies in the capturing and deportation of illegal immigrants. She is also citing the recent use by Police and other law enforcement agencies in the crackdown against the current demonstrators and mobs that are doing violence, destroying property and looting businesses in our major cities throughout the United States. It’s interesting that we share these common concerns with those on the opposite end of the political and spiritual spectrum. VERY INTERESTING. Neither side of the fence (or aisle) want this type of corporate and governmental intrusion or surveillance into our everyday lives. Unfortunately, I have no hope that either side will have much luck in stopping or even slowing down this enormous BEAST. (Please excuse some of the foul language used and their liberal Democratic agenda and ideologies.) It’s a very eye opening confirmation.
[Note: I edited out the first few minutes of the interview to bypass the initial introductions and statements, in order to get into the main message.]
Morality in the age of tech surveillance – Edward Snowden
Late last year Ed Snowden published a book called Permanent Record. THE DAILY SHOW Interview with Ed Snowden on his new book “Permanent Record”
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Revelation 20:4
May God help us.
